Hey 90s Kid, You're Old
This sketch comedy show takes the audience down memory lane, back to the 1990s. From Furbies to Teletubbies to Power Rangers, this show highlights an era of odd pop culture. It also offers a montage of music from the decade; the good, the bad and the absolutely atrocious. This show also explores where some of these cultural icons would be in the world of today. It really does tap into the nostalgia of that decade, so it’s best suited for an audience that will understand and enjoy all the references from that era. I even found myself, while enjoying the show, realizing that I am more of an ‘80s kid than a ‘90s kid. The writing is creative and goofy, and the performances are good in a deliberate over-the-top kind of way. A fun, fast paced show that provides good laughs, this one is worth checking out.
