Theatre Reviews

This three-person sketch comedy team brings fourteen different skits to this year’s Fringe. The performances were all okay, but not the strongest I’ve seen, and the skits had some hits and some misses, so I found this show to be a pretty mixed bag. My favourite sketches were I wish I was kabuki”, which had that boundary flirting dark comedy edge that this troupe advertized and Is it Darude Lan-storm”, a sketch about the desperate obsession and need to constantly be online that is just outright silly. While I enjoyed this show and feel it was worth checking out, there are much stronger and funnier sketch comedies at the Fringe to choose from.
