The Last Man on Earth
The Last Man on Earth is a silent movie performed on a stage. This group deserves a lot of points for stylistically recreating a silent movie – including an amazing live piano score that perfectly matches the mood of each scene, exaggerated movements and broad comedy. Unfortunately, I didn’t care for the story about the Devil trying to corrupt the hero. The minion added nothing to the story and I probably would have told a very simple love triangle story without surreal elements. Still, this show is worth seeing just for the way it looks and sounds.
