JURIED RADIO DRAMA COMPETITION 2006

Calling all U of M Students and Alumni!

CJUM-FM 101.5 is seeking submissions for our annual Juried Radio Drama Competition.

This competition is artistically wide open. Your story can be in any style, be set anywhere, be in any time, have as many characters as you wish, and be about anything you desire. Remember you are writing for radio, a medium where anything is possible.

The winning production will be produced and broadcast on UMFM in conjunction with the Black Hole Theatre Company.

PRIZE

Each winner will receive:

$300.00 cash from the University of Manitoba Student's Union

$250.00 eyewear package from the Focal Point, University Centre.

$100.00 gift certificate from the University of Manitoba Bookstore

RULES

The play must be an original work. No previously published material. Script must be double-spaced on 8.5 X 11 white paper. Please include three copies.
Maximum produced length is one hour. Your name must not appear anywhere on the manuscript.

This competition is open to U of M students and alumni only. Staff and
volunteers of UMFM are not eligible.

Submissions must be post marked no later than Monday February 27, 2006.

Entry fee is $5.00 payable to UMFM.

Answers Booth (U. Centre) and the U of M Theatre Department or by calling Liz at 204-474-6518 and leaving your mailing address on voicemail.
