Odd­block, Win­nipeg’s new block par­ty style, four-day com­e­dy fes­ti­val is set to cel­e­brate its inau­gur­al run August 27^th to 30^th. Tak­ing place at mul­ti­ple venues with­in a two block radius in Winnipeg’s South Osborne neigh­bour­hood, includ­ing The Park The­atre, Lux­alune Gas­trop­ub, Deseo Bistro, and more; each venue will host mul­ti­ple com­e­dy shows, fea­tur­ing inter­na­tion­al tour­ing come­di­ans, nation­al head­lin­ers and local comedians.

Odd­block aims to dif­fer­en­ti­ate itself from oth­er fes­ti­vals by pro­vid­ing a local­ized, high-den­si­ty and inti­mate set­ting for expe­ri­enc­ing com­e­dy. With numer­ous shows in a mul­ti­tude of loca­tions locat­ed with­in one neigh­bour­hood, patrons are encour­aged to bike, bus, or dri­ve to the area and spend the whole day in one loca­tion, attend­ing mul­ti­ple events.
