Tee­bz and Beans are in-stu­dio, but TJ is in Edmon­ton with a full report from some­where near Rex­all Place regard­ing the Kings-Oil­ers tilt tonight. We are thrilled to wel­come Don McGillivray to the show as well, and he has basi­cal­ly seen it all in his coach­ing career hav­ing coached five dif­fer­ent MJHL teams, becom­ing the head coach for the Uni­ver­si­ty of Man­i­to­ba Bisons men’s hock­ey team, join­ing the Prince Albert Raiders as an assis­tant coach before tak­ing over the head coach­ing posi­tion, work­ing with Hock­ey Cana­da and lead­ing the Cana­di­an entry at the U17 Hock­ey Chal­lenge, and join­ing the Bran­don Wheat Kings this sea­son. There were acco­lades and cham­pi­onships, highs and lows, some char­ac­ters both on and off the ice, and a few moments that I’m sure he has­n’t for­got­ten over his career!
