Dr.Karen Ralls author-the Knights Templar Encyclopedia. Dr. Karen Ralls, Oxford-based author, medieval historian, and religious studies scholar, is widely recognized for her groundbreaking work. She obtained her PhD from the University of Edinburgh and was Postdoctoral Fellow at Edinburgh University before continuing with specialist medieval research (12th-14th c.) in Oxford. Dr Ralls is a member of the British Association for the Study of Religion (BASR), the American Academy of Religion (AAR), the Oxford University Religious Studies Society, and is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries (Scot.). Her books include: The Knights Templar Encyclopedia ( Career Press, NJ, USA 2007) The Templars and the Grail (Quest Books, Chicago, 2003), The Quest for the Celtic Key (Luath Press, Edinburgh, 2002, w/I.
