The Aethernomicon

Venue 3 – The Playhouse Studio

Like watching a cheesy Dr. Who episode, the story is not great, but entertaining, funny, quirky and bizarre.  The performers all deliver good vocal performances and show off their puppeteering skills.   The puppets are well crafted and very funny.  Watch and Spectacle company have grown greatly from last year’s performance - going from 11 to 13 puppets and from rod puppets to the far more complicated but detailed marionettes.  It’s good to see an already good company push themselves even further.  The time and effort that has gone into this show can be seen on the stage.  This show is a lot of fun, and very well put together, definitely worth seeing, but come early as it sells out quickly.
