Balls tells the story of two friends,
Paul and Bastian. Paul develops testicular cancer in university.
Overall,
I really liked this show. However, the one problem I had with it was that I
didn’t like how Paul’s character reacted to finding out he had
cancer. Paul’s character didn’t change – he was still
joking around. I would think that being diagnosed with something as serious
as cancer would somehow change your character. But, the show takes a really
interesting turn when something happens to Bastian. And that final image of
trying to return to childhood innocence is a beautiful way to end this story.
