‘Beth Venue 3 – The Playhouse Studio
Beth starts with the husband’s
will being read and he leaves most of his money to his mistress and very
little to his wife. The wife and her son plan to kill the mistress so they
can collect her money. I liked
this script. It was short (45 minutes) and full of interesting plot twists.
It illustrates perfectly the problem with crime – once you start it, it
becomes difficult to stop it. Even though the character of the wife has
doubts about committing the second murder, it does make perfect sense to
commit more murders or else you won’t get any of the money. - Justin Olynyk
