Busty Rhymes With MC Hot Pink Venue 13 – Ragpickers
Theatre
Part standup, part spoken word, this show is essentially Penny
Ashton telling the audience about her unsuccessful attempts to land a
boyfriend. While a few people in the audience were consistently laughing,
unfortunately I only laughed a few times during the show. The spoken word
segments were creative and clever and easily the best parts of the show.
Unfortunately, the standup wasn’t really that
original. I would have preferred that this show branch into other topics
instead of solely focusing on dating. - Justin Olynyk
