Frank Einstein & Tango Fiasco Venue 4 – Onstage at
the Playhouse
I was
drawn into this one wondering what a rock opera would look like. Well, apparently a lot like Tuesday
night at the Zoo, minus the booze and drunks that make that place
palatable. The Rogue Elephants
belt out classic rock for forty five minutes and that is it. The band
is alright for the genre they are performing in; however, there is no theatre,
no art, not even any stage presence to be seen here. The band is pretty much static the
whole time, leaving you to stare blankly at their over the top lyrics on the
projector screen. I would suggest
skipping this one, but I don’t think any warning is needed as there were
only six people (including myself) in the audience Monday night. - Cindy Murdoch UMFM |
