Hands Off Venue 3 – The
Playhouse Studio
Hands
Off! is a series
of short comedy sketches. Unfortunately, I found this show to be very uneven.
Some scenes were very funny (such as the mime, roommate and pregnancy)
whereas other one joke scenes went on for far too long (including the slump, interview
and freshness). However, what distinguishes this group from other comedy
groups is that they generate laughs not just from the dialogue but also from
physical comedy. Also, several of their sketches had surprise twists to them
which is good because unpredictability is important in comedy. Overall, while
this is a good show, I thought that their show in the 2006 Fringe was
