Venue 2 – MTC Up the Alley

Michael and Emily are old friends. Michael visits Emily’s apartment because he desperately needs her to help him find women.

True to real life, I liked that the play depicted a messy friendship. It ponders the question – when do friends cross the line. Unfortunately, I thought the play was a little repetitive in the first half until Michael starts making changes. Both actors do a good job with their characters, especially playwright Brent Hirose as the shy and nervous Michael.
