Mortem
Capiendum is an old style travelling medicine show. Professor Saint
Miracle and his two associates are trying to sell the audience on some
elixirs that will cure various ills. The best
parts of this show were the short scenes – the barber with shaken hands
and the translation of The Bible. The long scenes such as the rebirth potion
just don’t have enough laughs to justify their length. And, worse yet,
the script adds a silly conflict to the middle of the show when the three
associates argue with each other and threaten to walk out. Overall, a
