Myopia Venue 4 – Onstage
at the Playhouse
In Myopia,
a person is murdered and a police detective is trying to find out whodunit. Unfortunately,
this play was really silly. Playwright Chad Heath decides to play with the
conventions of the mystery genre. As a result, some scenes are replayed
multiple times as the writer rewrites scenes but what happens in the scene changes.
I would have preferred either a serious mystery, or a mystery with comic
touches. - Justin Olynyk
