The Really Real Adventures of Scott Free and Will Do Venue 9 – The
Rachel Browne Theatre (WCD Studio)
Scot and
Will are two childhood friends who together go on several imaginary
adventures. The story
keeps moving along at a fast pace and is full of songs, laughter and even offers
a nice message. The performers generate a lot of laughs with funny facial
expressions and by falling on the stage. Plus, this story even makes the
audience think about the power of imagination – if we believe something
is real, doesn’t that make it real? I’m usually a critic of audience
participation because it slows down the show, but I was fascinated when the actors
asked the children in the audience a question “How do you know you are
real?” Overall, this is a really enjoyable Fringe show. - Justin Olynyk
