Thread is a one-woman
show about an employee giving an orientation session to new employees of a
drug company. She is stalling until the boss appears, but in the meantime,
she tells the new employees about herself and the company.
First and
foremost, Nicole L. Ascroft is a talented comedienne who brings high energy to
the show and can quickly change her facial expressions. I also like the songs
and tap dances Ascroft added to the show. She doesn’t have a full hour
of material, but because of her energy, she kept me laughing throughout the
show.
